The New AI-Powered Feature
Back in March, Google introduced a new feature for Google Keep, known as ‘Help Me Create a List.’ This feature, powered by Gemini, was initially mentioned during the unveiling of the Pixel 9 series. The AI-driven ‘Help Me Create a List’ is now rolling out to Android users, providing a convenient way to create and populate lists effortlessly.
To use this feature, simply open the Google Keep app on your Android device and press the ‘ ‘ button. You’ll then see another button labeled ‘Help Me Create a List.’ After pressing it, a text box will appear where you can specify the type of list you need. For example, you could type ‘shopping list for a diabetic,’ tap the create button, and a populated list will appear based on your input.
Compatibility and Activation
This innovative feature is currently being disseminated to all Android phones running Google Keep version v5.24.322.01.90. It has already been spotted on several devices, including my Pixel 6 Pro running the latest Android 15 beta.
To disable this feature, you can use the toggle switch available in a subsequent version of the app, v2.24.332.02.90. Although this build has not yet arrived on all devices, you can find the switch by navigating to the settings menu accessible via the hamburger icon on the top left of the display. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the toggle switch if you wish to turn off ‘Help Me Create a List.’
