His video demonstrates how casting magic spells through a specific fog wall behind Castle Ensis can quickly bring Rellana down.
Effective Spells and Strategies
Several spells have proved to be effective in this unconventional strategy. Ziostorm recommends the ‘Flame of the Fell God’ spell. Others have successfully employed Moonveil’s ranged attack, the DLC’s ‘Impenetrable Thorns’ sorcery, and even Rellana’s own ‘Carian Sovereignty’ spell. The key is to use a spell that is large enough to hit her while she stands in the middle of the room.
Turns out, you can cheese Rellana by going to the rear fog wall by Highroad Cross and using Flame of the Fell God. It will travel into her arena and explode.

The Path to Rellana’s Arena
To execute this strategy, players must first navigate a challenging path southeast of Castle Ensis, through a ravine, and launch themselves via sealed spiritsprings into the Fort of Reprimand. After battling through there, continuing north along the road brings them to the back entrance of Castle Ensis, where Rellana’s fog gate awaits.
A Word of Caution
While this method currently works, FromSoftware is known for promptly patching such exploits. Ziostorm’s clip even shows Rellana waking up and attacking through the gate, hinting at potential risks. If this exploit gets patched, players can still use the Castle Ensis route to collect Scadutree fragments and prepare for a more traditional but easier battle against Rellana.
