Continued Development of Deltarune

Toby Fox, the beloved creator of Undertale, is continuing to work on his follow-up project, Deltarune. Fans are excited as they await the release of the next chapters, following the free episodes launched in 2019 and 2021. The game development process has its challenges, but Fox has been providing updates to keep everyone in the loop.

Progress on Chapters 3 and 4

The good news is that chapters 3 and 4 are nearing completion. According to Toby Fox, both chapters are currently in Quality Assurance (QA), which is a vital step to ensure a smooth gaming experience. This phase includes extensive testing and bug fixing, so players can look forward to a polished final product.

Updates and Future Expectations

In a recent post on Bluesky, Fox shared insights into the testing phase. He mentioned that while there are fewer bugs, there’s still a lot of work to do, particularly with console testing. Fox also pointed out that the development team recently received the technology needed to allow save data from the demo to carry over to the main game on consoles. He expressed hope that this feature will work seamlessly, adding to the excitement for fans eager for the updates.
