Introduction to Season 3: Into the Dragon’s Wake

Skull and Bones is set to release its highly anticipated Season 3, titled ‘Into the Dragon’s Wake,’ on August 22nd. With this release, Ubisoft Singapore introduces new elements into the game, including fresh threats, storylines, and in-game content. A new story trailer and patch notes have been shared, offering fans a glimpse into what they can expect this season.

New Adversaries and Storyline Developments

The new season introduces players to formidable enemies from the Middle Kingdom, who aim to seize control over the Indian Ocean. Commander Zhang and his lieutenant, Li Tian Ning, lead the Dragon’s Claw faction. Zhang’s descent into darkness leaves Li Tian Ning to shape a new destiny. As the tension rises in the East Indies, players will experience omens of a new sea monster among other challenges. The story’s first episode ‘A Brewing Storm’ will go live next week, followed by more episodes over the next seven weeks.

Intriguing Rewards and New Content

Season 3 also brings a variety of exciting rewards through the Smuggler Pass. Players can earn a new ship called the Battle Junk, a medium-sized, resilient tank. Other notable rewards include Divine Thunder, a new epic long gun, and the Immortal Vessel Armor. For those seeking companionship, the Lazy Iggy pet could be a perfect fit. A new contraband reward, Imperial Jade from the Middle Kingdom, is obtainable through battles with Li Tian Ning and Commander Zhang or by navigating guarded trade routes overseen by the Dragon’s Claw.

Upcoming Events and Game Improvements

Further adding to the excitement, several time-limited events and world events will take place this season, introducing new bounties such as the Sea Dragon: Shadowbeast and Elder Shadowbeast in September. Besides, the game receives numerous improvements, including updated controls with a focus on mouse and keyboard, menu enhancements, additional key binds, and updates to the third-person camera view and action wheel.

With these new features and improvements, Skull and Bones Season 3: Into the Dragon’s Wake promises to deliver an enriched and thrilling experience for its players.
