As expected, Realme has unveiled its new mid-range smartphones, the Realme 13 5G and Realme 13 Pro 5G. These models join another duo of mid-end phones, the Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro+. While slightly less powerful than the Pro series, these new smartphones are certainly just as interesting, particularly the Realme 13 Pro 5G.

Technical Specifications
One exceptional feature of the Realme 13 Pro 5G is that it’s the first smartphone to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 energy chipset. This new System on Chip (SoC) is manufactured using 4nm technology and comes with eight cores: 4x Cortex A78 clocked at up to 2.5GHz and 4x Cortex A55 clocked at up to 2GHz. The chipset also houses a Mali-G615 GPU and a MediaTek NPU 655 (Neural Processing Unit).
Both smartphones sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness. The Realme 13 Pro 5G features a dual camera setup: a 50MP Sony Lyt-600 sensor alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. In contrast, the Realme 13 5G has a slightly different camera configuration, with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Additionally, the Realme 13 5G comes equipped with MediaTek’s 6300 chipset and a 16MP selfie snapper.
Battery and Charging Capabilities
Both new models pack 5,000 mAh batteries. However, the Realme 13 Pro 5G supports 80W fast charging, whereas the regular Realme 13 5G only supports 45W charging. This difference in charging capabilities further solidifies Realme 13 Pro 5G’s advanced status among mid-range smartphones.
