A phone’s overall memory speed is influenced by other factors, such as the chipset and memory controller. Nonetheless, the theoretical benefits of UFS 4.0 are hard to ignore. For instance, the Zenfone 11 Ultra, equipped with UFS 4.0, exhibits significantly faster sequential read and write speeds compared to the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Despite these advancements, the average user might not perceive a drastic difference in daily use since most commonly used apps do not demand high-speed storage.

While UFS 4.0 provides a 25-45% increase in efficiency, resulting in lower power consumption, the overall impact on battery life is minimal.
