As I kicked down doors and confronted elusive cultists, I couldn’t help but marvel at my new skill level. With an axe in hand, I discovered I could indeed deflect bullets—a skill I greatly appreciated just moments before an unfortunate cultist met their demise at the mercy of my revolver. Cruel may be misnamed, as it embodies the essence of ‘cool’ much more aptly. The experience offers fast-paced action reminiscent of classic shooters like Blood and newer titles such as Anger Foot, sending you ripping through treacherous, dilapidated hallways that seem hell-bent on your destruction.
