The Anticipated March Update

Attention, Hunters! Mark your calendars because the next Monster Hunter Wilds update is set to launch on March 10. This update promises to refine the game, ensuring that when you chop off monster parts, you actually get… wait for it… the right monster parts! Yes, that’s right—no more mismatched appendages flying off into the ether.

Impressive Launch, Mixed Feelings

Since its launch, Monster Hunter Wilds has amassed more than 1.4 million concurrent players on Steam, a staggering leap over the previous game’s peak of 334,684. With eight million copies flying off the virtual shelves in just three days, it’s no wonder that Capcom is eager to keep the momentum going. However, despite its success, the game carries a rather unflattering ‘mixed’ rating on Steam, with only 60% of user reviews giving a thumbs up.

What’s Getting Fixed?

This forthcoming update, shifting the game to version 1.000.05.00, will address various known issues that have been frustrating players. These include the meal invitation event not occurring, equipment loadout glitches, and that pesky problem where monster parts change from one monster to another after decimation. And yes, they’re also resolving the issue of *Gravios* not gaining flinch resistance after you’ve effectively turned it into a pile of parts.

Capcom assures us that they are keenly aware of feedback from players and working diligently on improvements. While they haven’t revealed any long-term updates just yet, they promise that there’s more to come—starting with an early April title update. So gear up and stay tuned, because Monster Hunter Wilds is about to get even wilder!
