Chinese gaming chair manufacturer AndaSeat has been announced as a partner of the PUBG Global Championship 2023.
As a result, the manufacturer will provide its range of gaming chairs at the event, which is underway now until December 3rd in Bangkok, Thailand.
According to a release, AndaSeat’s sponsorship of the PUBG Global Championship is a ‘deep-seated commitment to the gaming community’. The gaming chair manufacturer is no stranger to supporting various areas of gaming and the esports industry. In recent years, it has partnered with the likes of Team Singularity, Fnatic, and EXCEL ESPORTS.
The 2023 PUBG Global Championship sees 32 teams from across the world compete for a share of $2m (~£1.59m) in prize money at Bangkok’s Central LadPrao shopping complex. 2023’s tournament is the sixth PUBG Global Championship to take place and marks the end of the battle royale’s competitive season.
2023 was the first PUBG season to feature a partnership programme for some of its teams competing. In January, NAVI, FaZe Clan, and Gen.G became the founding partner teams for the season before Twisted Minds, Gen.G, Soniqs and 17Gaming joined later in the year.
AndaSeat is the second sponsor of the PUBG Global Championship 2023. The chair manufacturer joins technology corporation MSI which will host a range of activations along with providing equipment for the event.
AndaSeat continues to expand its presence in the esports industry. In October 2023, it partnered with Weibo Gaming to co-create a new gaming chair.
