Krafton announced today that Inzoi’s character creator is getting a free demo starting on August 20.
Character Studio Demo
As a special treat for its community, Krafton is releasing a limited-time public demo for Inzoi: Character Studio through Steam. This feature allows players to craft their dream avatar, the ‘zoi’, with over 250 customization options. The demo will be available from 9 pm Pacific on Tuesday, August 20, through 9 pm Pacific on Sunday, August 25. This brief window offers an exciting opportunity to delve into the intricacies of the game’s character creation system.
Customization Options
The most drool-worthy part of Inzoi seems to be its character creation. The menus, although in Korean, showcase soft, detailed hairstyles, hyper-realistic clothing textures, and very granular face editing options. Players will find detailed nail customization, color pickers for skin color, eye color, individual clothing pieces, and facial features. There’s even a pattern selector for clothes to explore. It’s a lot of options to experiment with in just five days, so be prepared for a deeply engaging experience.
Long-Term Engagement
With the launch of Character Studio, players will also be able to upload their ‘zois’ to the Canvas—Inzoi’s content-sharing space, similar to The Sims series gallery. Importantly, the avatars uploaded during the demo will remain usable when Inzoi’s full launch occurs. Although the game doesn’t have a specific release date yet, it did launch its Steam page last week, indicating it is ‘coming soon.’ The latest information suggests a release in late 2024. Additionally, Inzoi will be attending Gamescom next week, offering hope for more updates as we begin crafting these detailed avatars.
