Samsung’s Teasing of the Galaxy S25 Edge
During the Galaxy Unpacked event in January, Samsung introduced the highly anticipated slim variant of the new Galaxy S25 series. Initially dubbed the “Slim,” the device has officially been named the Galaxy S25 Edge. With an impressive design and powerful specifications, the Galaxy S25 Edge aims to redefine what users can expect from a slim smartphone.
Powerful Specs That Stand Out
The recent leaks concerning the hardware of the Galaxy S25 Edge suggest that this phone will pack a serious punch despite its lighter chassis. According to a reliable tipster, the S25 Edge will feature a 200 MP main camera, accompanied by a 12 MP selfie camera, ensuring spectacular photography capabilities for users.
Display and Performance Highlights
Equipped with an LTPO display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and boasts a peak screen brightness of 2,600 nits, the Galaxy S25 Edge is built for both gamers and media enthusiasts. It will also utilize a robust Armor Aluminum frame and come protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Additional specifications include a substantial 12 GB of RAM, along with the same 25 W charging speed found in the standard Galaxy S25. Connectivity wise, users can expect Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, UFS 4.0, and USB-C 3.2 features to enhance usability.
While details about the processor remain scarce, many industry experts anticipate that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, especially considering Samsung’s recent reliance on Qualcomm chipsets. Although significant advancements could be on the horizon, it appears that Exynos processors might not debut until the Galaxy S26.
