Chasing Geralt’s Next Adventure
Fans of The Witcher franchise are surely itching for the next installment – and rightly so. With Geralt of Rivia’s incredible adventures and moral dilemmas, it’s hard not to yearn for more. However, if you’re hoping for a release date any time soon, prepare yourself. The reality is that The Witcher 4 doesn’t appear on the horizon just yet.
2026? Not a Chance!
During a recent earnings presentation, CD Projekt gave clarity to our anticipations—by which I mean they threw a bucket of cold water on those optimistic dreams. Their financial discussions, while typically reserved for corporate insiders, revealed a critical piece of information: The Witcher 4 is definitely not releasing by the end of 2026. So, for more than two years, we’re stuck in the real world —and the waiting game continues.
What About 2027?
Surprisingly enough, while the specter of 2026 looms large (and not in a fun way), 2027 has been mentioned as a possible release year. During the Q&A session following the earnings call, CD Projekt hinted that while the timeline is still fluid, fans could potentially expect more information after fiscal year 2024. Until then, keep the potions stocked and the armor polished, as there’s no imminent adventure for Geralt.
