Wreckfest 2: The Chaos Begins!

Wreckfest 2 Is Here!

Last August, I joyfully announced the upcoming Wreckfest 2, and now it’s time to hold on tight because it has arrived—at least in early access! Developed by the talented folks at Bugbear Entertainment, this sequel to the beloved car-crashing mayhem serves up destruction like you’ve never seen before.

Get Ready to Race!

The early access launch includes both single and multiplayer modes, allowing up to 24 players to join the fray alongside bots. With three courses and five tracks to choose from, including a remake of the iconic Wreckfest sandpit map, the chaos is just a race away! You’ll have the opportunity to tear up the track with a variety of vehicles, from American muscle cars to a compact Euro ride from the ’80s. Oh, and let’s not forget the delightfully beaten-up banger car from the ’90s!

Physics and Destruction: A Match Made in Mayhem

What truly sets Wreckfest 2 apart is its new physics engine that promises realism like never before. Expect to witness some truly spectacular wrecks: cars will sustain detailed damage, with parts flying off as frames bend and tires give way. Watching drivers get flung around in the cockpit? Comedy gold, my friends! The developers have taken an honest approach with their early access launch trailer, highlighting that this game is a work in progress—one that’s going to crash and crash hard.

Mark your calendars, as the first update is promising to roll out in May, featuring two new tracks and cars. And when the final release comes, expect a plethora of game modes, full customization options, and support for mods. Buckle up, gamers—Wreckfest 2 is basking in the chaotic spotlight, and it’s ready for you!
