Speedrunning Returns to Path of Exile 2

Since its early access launch in December, Path of Exile 2 has been generating buzz and excitement among players. With the initial hype subsiding, the community is eagerly awaiting more content. In the meantime, Grinding Gear Games (GGG) is keeping the momentum alive with exciting speedrunning events.

The Underdog Rises

In the first official race designed to showcase the game’s speedrunning talents, one player has truly turned heads: Angormus, a player using what many consider the game’s ‘worst’ class. Against all odds, Angormus completed the Act 3 race in a stunning 2:28:37 — outpacing the competition by a staggering forty minutes! His run not only secured him the top spot but also made every other racer look like they were stuck in slow motion.

Join the Race!

With two more races lined up for March 9 and March 16, there’s still time to participate in the fun. Each class’s top racer will earn a unique item to commemorate their skill, while the overall champion of the final race will walk away with a shiny new laptop. Clearing Act 3 took most players over 10 hours when the game was first released; Angormus has redefined what’s possible in this thrilling corner of Path of Exile 2.
